How do I add a widget?

Touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen until the apps jiggle, tap the + in the top corner, search for Countdowns, choose a size, and add it. Touch and hold the widget → Edit Widget to pick which countdown it shows. Lock Screen widgets work the same way from the Lock Screen customisation screen.

How do I share a countdown?

Open a countdown and tap Share Countdown. Choose Send to a Friend to AirDrop the countdown (they'll need the app installed — it opens straight into the app), or Share as Image to post a countdown card to Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, or save it to Photos.

Does my photo, checklist and location travel when I send to a friend?

Yes — sending a countdown by AirDrop or file includes the photo, checklist, and location. The image card is just a picture for social, so it shows a condensed summary rather than the full details.

How do I sync across my devices?

Turn on iCloud Sync in the ••• menu → Settings. Your countdowns then stay in sync across your devices through your own private iCloud. It's optional and everything stays private to you.

How do I back up my countdowns?

Tap the ••• menu on the main screen → Back Up, then save the file somewhere safe like iCloud Drive. To restore, tap •••Restore from Backup, or just open a backup file.

Is my data private?

Yes — there are no developer-operated accounts or servers, and no tracking or ads. Your countdowns stay on your device unless you choose optional private iCloud Sync through Apple, or explicitly back up, export, or share them. Place searches use Apple's Maps/Search services. See the privacy policy for details.
