Touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen until the apps jiggle, tap the + in the top corner, search for Countdowns, choose a size, and add it. Touch and hold the widget → Edit Widget to pick which countdown it shows. Lock Screen widgets work the same way from the Lock Screen customisation screen.
Open a countdown and tap Share Countdown. Choose Send to a Friend to AirDrop the countdown (they'll need the app installed — it opens straight into the app), or Share as Image to post a countdown card to Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, or save it to Photos.
Yes — sending a countdown by AirDrop or file includes the photo, checklist, and location. The image card is just a picture for social, so it shows a condensed summary rather than the full details.
Turn on iCloud Sync in the ••• menu → Settings. Your countdowns then stay in sync across your devices through your own private iCloud. It's optional and everything stays private to you.
Tap the ••• menu on the main screen → Back Up, then save the file somewhere safe like iCloud Drive. To restore, tap ••• → Restore from Backup, or just open a backup file.
Yes — everything stays on your device. No account, no servers, no tracking. See the privacy policy for details.
