Membership at Dokkadoki is simple: register your details online, then activate your pass at the café. You get a digital member card with a QR code for check-in and a Libib barcode for borrowing books while you read.
Join Dokkadoki
You can choose:
- Pay As You Go: free to join, pay per visit. Your details are kept on file so we can reach you about anything borrowed or damaged.
- Monthly / quarterly / annual memberships: a regular reading pass for as long as you like. Prices are set at launch.
How it works
- Preregister online: name, email, date of birth, phone, and address (phone and address are required so we can contact you if a book goes missing or gets damaged).
- Activate at the café: pay at the counter and staff activate your pass.
- Show your card: your digital pass shows your status and codes. Staff scan the QR to check you in and the Libib barcode to check books out to you while you’re in the café.
Reading is inside the café only: no take-home borrowing.
