A new yōkai-folklore-inspired performance arrives at Soho Theatre Upstairs on 24–25 August, presented in partnership with the Japan Foundation. The Runaway Effect is a 60-minute work-in-progress mixing puppetry, live sound and experimental multimedia from BIG KUN / Théâtre Lapis, written and performed by Diana Feng with Japanese co-creator and puppet director Yojiro Ichikawa.

Tickets
Both performances start at 6:45pm and run 60 minutes, with unreserved seating. Full-price tickets are £18 on Monday and £17 on Tuesday (demand-based), with member prices from £14.40 and discounts for students, seniors, the unwaged and registered access patrons. A £2 restoration levy and £2 booking fee apply. The show is recommended for ages 16+.
