London Anime & Gaming Con fills four floors of Novotel London West with anime, gaming, cosplay, performances and fan activities from 28 to 30 August.
What to expect
The organiser lists video and tabletop gaming, anime theatre, stage events and panels, cosplay activities, karaoke, parties, exhibitors and merchandise. The full three-day timetable is now published, with named voice-actor Q&As (Courtney Lin, Brian Beacock, Penelope Rawlins; Chloe Eves; Carole Ruggier and Valentine Stokes), DAGames and DrDark7 performances, an Anime Debate (Subs vs Dubs), Cosplay Runway and Saturday-night Masquerade, a “YAKAI RAVE” headlined by LELE and DJ MANIMAL, karaoke, K-Pop Random Dance and more. Published guests also include Shao Dow, Victoria Rosebloom, NatzOtaku, DJ Mika, Amber, Duncan Gutteridge, Reno GTK, The RBK Experience, Tanya Roberts, MLN Ensemble, Raven, shin and the Pokémon Origami Workshop, with Aivee, MJ & RadioArtz and DJFLANNAS on the timetable. Guests and programming can change, so check the official timetable and event site before travelling.
Travel, tickets and accessibility
The venue is Novotel London West, International Centre, Shortlands, London W6 8DR. Daytime areas open at 10:00 for Early Bird/VIP ticketholders or 11:30 for Standard, running to about 18:00, with evening stage events and parties to around 23:00. Full weekend tickets are £49 (against a £67 reference price); Friday-only £20, Saturday-only £27, Sunday-only £20. Early Bird (+£6) brings 10:00 entry and five raffle tickets; VIP (+£15) adds ten raffle tickets, a conbadge, lanyard and tote bag. Under-8s go free; under-16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+). On-the-day tickets (if not sold out) are available from 12:00, or from 14:00 on sold-out days. A service charge shows as £0.00 at the first basket stage - final fees are unconfirmed, so check the official ticket page before booking.
Daytime content is mostly PG-13, with some after-party content restricted to 18+ (wristband/ID check). The organiser’s accessibility page is still a work in progress. Carers with a Nimbus/Access Card (+1 symbol) get a 50% discount (one per eligible attendee) by emailing registrations@animeleague.com. There’s a daily 4pm Big Geek Raffle.
