Animangapop returns to Manchester as a two-day weekender on 19–20 September, moving from its 2025 single-day Sugden Sports Centre edition into the Pendulum Hotel near Piccadilly. The new format brings more performances, panels, cosplay and gaming across a full weekend.

The programme includes talks and panels on fashion, cosplay, small press and the industry; gaming competitions and tournaments with on-the-day sign-up; live singers, idol groups and bands; trader and artist spaces; cosplay activities, a Cherry Blossom Photo Shoot, tea ceremony and Proplica Display.
Named performers and guests include Imi, Holly Heart, Yuei Usagii, LiLi, Nonsensebungakuu, Zonic Music, Miu Sleepwalker, mokkai parfait, Alice the wonderland idol, Jenny Hayes and Dearwish!, with Alice in cosplayland judging cosplay. A dated timetable and food vendors have not yet been announced.
Tickets and entry
Base ticket prices are £25 Early Bird weekend (limited), £29 weekend, £20 Saturday, £15 Sunday and £50 VIP, excluding any checkout fees. VIP includes early access, a gift bag with one signed voice-actor postcard, a dedicated queue, priority panel/performance access and priority seating. The official page lists 11:00–18:00, while Eventbrite advertises 10:30–18:00; check your ticket for the correct arrival time.
Under-16s must attend with a parent or guardian, and under-18s are recommended to do so. Photo ID is required; under-5s are free, with a maximum of two under-4s per full-paying adult.
