Animangapop returns to Cardiff Bay on 28–29 November with a full weekend of live stage performances, gaming tournaments, panels and a trader hall at the Future Inn, 400 metres from the Wales Millennium Centre.
Programme
The stage programme spans live singers, idol groups and bands (“performed by amateurs unless otherwise stated”), plus panels and talks on fashion, cosplay, small press and the industry, gaming competitions and tournaments, a Pokémon photo shoot, cherry blossom photo shoot and tea ceremony. The full dated schedule is not yet published. Voice actor Chloe Eves (Genshin Impact, Smite, Neverwinter) is the first confirmed guest, doing talks, photoshoots and merchandise signings across the weekend.
Tickets
Early Bird weekend tickets are £25 (limited), a standard weekender £29, Saturday £20, Sunday £15, and VIP £50 with a gift bag containing a signed voice-actor postcard, queue jump, priority seating and 10:30 entry. Sales are live on Eventbrite. Under-16s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and under-5s (site) / under-4s (admission policy) enter free with a paying adult. Refunds are not generally offered, except for cancellations and specific major changes.
Access
One free carer pass is available per attendee who needs one, with pre-registration and evidence (DLA/PIP/Blue Badge and similar); assistance animals are welcome. Cosplay prop rules are published on the organiser’s site-realistic firearms and metal blades are banned, foam props and red-tipped lightsabers are fine.
